- The surviving girl is also a brunette.

The Texas chain saw massacre

The clothes that she is wearing make her look weak and vulnerable as she is only wearing a vest top.

The girl is a teenager and looks worried and anxious

The surviving girl is also a brunette

Conclusion of the surviving girl

- Most of the images are dark, shadowy and gloomy which fits in the horror/ slasher genre.

- All the surviving girls are brunettes. The director has done this because stereotypically blonde girls are promiscuous compared to brunettes and the surviving girls are also less or not at all sexually active, which send out a common message from slasher films.

- In the image low key lighting is used to give a gloomy atmosphere or very harsh lighting is used to make the audience uncomfortable.

- In slasher films the surviving girl and most of the characters tend to be teenagers as the target demographic can relate as they are teenagers too.
